Cathy talks to family rights activist Erin Pizzey, writer Donald S Murray discusses his novel on the Iolaire disaster and we ask what role charity plays in the world's religions.

Erin Pizzey has dedicated her life to campaigning for victims of domestic violence, both male and female. She joins Cathy to discuss her difficult upbringing and why she has become a critic of feminism.
 
Ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Iolaire disaster, writer Donald S Murray joins Cathy to discuss his novel based on the events of 1st January 1919 when over 200 soldiers returning from the First World War lost their lives outside Stornoway harbour. 
 
How much can having a faith influence your relationship with charity and giving? Cathy explores the relationship between charity and the many religions of the world with Martin Palmer, a religious historian who works with the charity, Alliance of Religions and Conservation, Val Morgan, Communications Manager at the charity SCIAF and Nazim Asad, co-convener of the Edinburgh Interfaith Association.
