A secondary school in Newcastle has launched a consultation on their behaviour policies and have proposed a 'consequence system' which would mean misbehaving children wear green bibs and pick up litter as part of a "community service" punishment instead of detention.

Apparently Amber Rudd went on an Interrailing trip following her departure from Cabinet duties as Home Secretary before becoming the minister for Work and Pensions.  Barbara Lerski Took an Adult Gap Year at 49.  She says that more people should give it a go - regardless of age!  Phoebe Smith is the Editor of Wanderlust.

NO PHONES
How would you feel if a restaurant asked you to put your phone away?  For the next week Frankie and Benny's waiters and waitresses will ask diners to hand over their phone when they enter any one of the chain's 250 restaurants - and for those who do, children will eat for free.
