Ruairidh Alastair MacLennan investigates whether or not the voting age in the UK should be lowered to 16. At 16 people can get married, smoke, join the army and pay taxes, yet they are not allowed to vote in general elections.

Professor John Curtice tells Ruairidh Alastair about the research that has been done, and two MSPs talk about the system at Holyrood and if they think the change should and could happen UK-wide.
