We have a report from Collective, a new contemporary arts space for Edinburgh, just before its grand opening. Situated on top of Calton Hill, overlooking the capital, Collective includes the restored City Observatory, designed by William Playfair in 1818. For the first time in its 200-year history the Observatory site will be freely open to the public.
