Then we hear from community activist Majid Hussain who’s been confirmed as one of the new independent members of the Greater Manchester Police and Crime Panel. He’s been at the forefront of tackling gun and gang crime in the city. After that Nihal is joined by Joety Kandola whose daughter Ananya desperately needs a kidney transplant. And we speak to the founder of MacFest – a nine day celebration of Muslim arts and culture. Qaisra Shahraz tells Nihal about the festival and why it’s important for Muslims to celebrate their heritage.
