Great works of fiction are upended when a comedy trio stumble into the plot.

Comedy trio Peepolykus upend classic fiction: handymen damage a sinister portrait in the attic of a London townhouse. From 2015.

In 19th-century London, a butler struggles to keep pace with the destructive lifestyle of his employer, a hauntingly good-looking and impressionable young man of means. 

The butler hires painter-decorators to carry out repairs.

But when they accidentally damage a portrait hidden in the attic, they find that it has alarming effects on the young man.

The comedy troupe Peepolykus assume the roles of minor characters in great works of fiction and derail the plot of the book through their hapless buffoonery.
