A memorial event will take place this weekend commemorating Shankill bomber.

"Gut-wrenching" - Charlie Butler, who lost three loved ones in Shankill bomb, hits out at commemoration event for bomber Thomas Begley.

A memorial event will take place this weekend commemorating Shankill bomber Thomas Begley. The event will be held at Milltown Cemetary tomorrow. That's just four days after an event was held on the Shankill to remember those killed in 1993 when a no-warning bomb exploded in Frizzell's fish shop on a busy Saturday afternoon. Some of the families of the victims of the bomb have criticised the event and described it as sickening. Sinn Fein have told this programme that the event is being organised by the family and friends of Thomas Begley and will be attended by Sinn Fein members. The party have said in the past that we all have right to remember our dead. Stephen spoke to Charlie Butler - he lost three loved-ones in the Shankill bomb - his niece Evelyn Baird, her partner Michael Morrison and their seven-year-old daughter Michelle. We also got reaction from Alliance Party MLA Naomi Long, Irish News journalist Allison Morris and we took your calls.

Also on the programme, the introduction of Universal Credit is causing unacceptable hardship and difficulties for many of the claimants it was designed to help. That's just one of many criticisms of the controversial benefits system laid out in a new report by Westminster's Public Accounts Committee. Universal Credit, for new claims, has been rolled out to most parts of Northern Ireland. But what about assistance for those affected - cash to mitigate the impact? Stephen spoke to SDLP Deputy Leader Nichola Mallon and DUP MLA Jim Wells.
