Celebrating 25 years of Radio 1's Essential Mix, we head back to 1998 with Jeff Mills.

Head back to 1998 with a classic Essential Mix from Detroit DJ, record producer and composer Jeff Mills. 

Formerly known as The Wizard, Mills founded the techno collective Underground Resistance in the 1980's alongside former Parliament bass player 'Mad' Mike Banks, before going on to set up Axis Records in 1992. 

This mix originally aired on Radio 1 on June 7th 1998 and features tracks by Marco Carola, Ben Sims and Tony Dax as well as many of Jeff Mills own productions.
