Gregor and his trusted bakers and cooks show us the recipes they turn to when on a strict budget. Gregor visits his neighbour in Lewis who shows him a great way to use up mashed potato by making sweet and chocolatey macaroons with it. 

He then goes to Kyle of Lochalsh, where an accomplished cook shows him how she uses tinned salmon to make delicious tart. And back at home, Gregor puts old bananas to good use in his sticky caramel upside-down cake.
