Timothy West narrates the legendary tale of native American hero, Hiawatha, as told in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's epic 1855 poem.

Timothy West narrates the legendary tale of the native American warrior Hiawatha.

Based on Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's 1955 epic, the poem relates the adventures of Hiawatha, son of the Ruler Of The Winds Of Heaven, who forges peace through his marriage to Minnehaha. Named Strong-Heart by his villagers, Hiawatha battles defeats mighty opponents, but mischief, famine and tragedy follow.
