Another programme in the series presenting highlights of acts who appeared as part of the BBC Radio Scotland's Quay Sessions. This performance features Aberdeen indie rock band The Little Kicks. They are notable for playing at various gigs all over the country and beyond, and are accustomed to traveling home afterwards in their van. Steven Milne writes the lyrics for their songs, while the other three members of the band, Adam, Andrew and Scott, help write the music.

The band consider David Bowie, Lonard Cohen and Harry Nilsson as important influences on their music. At this special session, the band plays tracks including Girl, You and Someone Like Me and Bang the Drum Slowly.
