Wendy and Colin Parry, Brexit - do women want a second referendum?

Wendy and Colin Parry whose son Tim aged 12 died in the Warrington bombing, swatching or trying different shades of make up, and how much choice is there for women with dark skin?

Women for a People's Vote: the women's campaign for a second EU referendum launches today. A new Yougov poll today suggests women now back staying in the EU by a margin of 12 points. So what do women want in the current Brexit debate and do they want a second referendum? Jane speaks to Caroline Criado Perez who voted Remain and is from the Women for The People's Vote Campaign and Madeline Grant who voted Leave and is Editorial Manager at the Institute for Economic Affairs.

On March 20th 1993 the day before Mothering Sunday, the IRA exploded two bombs in a shopping street in the town of Warrington killing Jonathan Ball aged 3 and Tim Parry aged 12 and injuring dozens more. The deaths of the two boys inspired one of the largest peace rallies in Irish history. Tonight on BBC2 a drama documentary Mother's day starring Vicky McClure and Anna Maxwell Martin tells the story of the two mothers Susan McHugh and Wendy Parry and their husbands brought together on opposite sides of the Irish sea in the wake of the tragedy. Jane speaks to Wendy and Colin Parry, parents of Tim who went on to set up the charity The Peace Foundation to support those affected by terrorism and conflict . 

A new TUC report published today finds that childcare fees in England have risen three times faster than wages since 2008 Jane speaks to Nicola Smith from the TUC about the report and the implications. 

In a new series the writer and broadcaster Sali Hughes has been talking to women about objects in their lives that are important to them. Today it's the turn of author and winner of the Bailey's Woman's Prize Naomi Alderman and a mug that has stood the test of time. 

Swatching involves trying different shades of make-up on the skin to find the right match in tone. It is a growing trend used by make-up brands and bloggers alike, but it has also highlighted the lack of products on offer for women with darker skins. Journalist Kemi Olivia Alemoru has called swatching 'a political battleground' in the make-up industry. Kemi joins beauty youtuber Leonore Christa to discuss with Jane.
