It's election time in Pakistan, and BBC Urdu has been finding out what voters think.  Hassan Zaidi has been following the social media chatter; and Hussain Askari has been criss-crossing the country in the company of 3 women bikers,  3 life-sized cardboard cut-outs of prominent politicians, and a big  yellow chair.

Are you on time? 
On Monday, Presidents Putin and Trump met in Helsinki, but a little later than planned: President Putin was late.  President Trump was himself late for the recent NATO meeting.   Power play, punctuality, and how late is too late?  With Ozge Ozdemir of BBC Turkish, Liston Siregar of BBC Indonesian, David Cann of BBC Korean and Felin Gakwaya of BBC Great Lakes.

The tribal mark debate
BBC Yoruba recently featured the story of a young woman who claimed her low self-esteem came from her tribal marks.  The tradition of marking babies is losing popularity in Nigeria, but it’s still a hotly debated topic.   BBC’s Jelilat Olawale explains changing attitudes towards this tradition.

Brazil and Gujarat: the cattle connection
The Gir cow originated in India but while numbers there are dwindling, in Brazil they are thriving, and produce far more milk.  To find out more we linked up Roxy Gagdekar of BBC Gujarati with BBC Brasil journalist Joao Fellet.

Military service in Turkey 
Turkey's parliament is reviewing compulsory military service.  The proposed change would allow some men to serve 25 days instead of a much longer term in exchange for a fee.  Enis Senerdem of BBC Turkish shares his thoughts on the plan and remembers his own military service.
