Four BBC journalist share their stories about money and how it continually shapes lives.

As part of the Money and Power season, Pascale Harter presents a special live edition of the programme from outside New Broadcasting House – the home of the BBC in the heart of London. Ahead of elections in Mexico, Shaimaa Khalil finds that despite the rich and poor living in seemingly different worlds they are united in their fear of rising levels of violence.

The BBC’s Chief International Correspondent Lyse Doucet searches for hope within Afghanistan’s constant power struggles and its forever war. "Will it now get better?" people are asking again.
