John chats to writer Elizabeth McGivern about her debut novel "Amy Cole Has Lost Her Mind" and meets the mother of one of Northern Ireland's youngest MS sufferers.

Elizabeth McGivern describes herself as a former journalist turned hostage-in-her-own-home surrounded by three men and a horrible dog named Dougal! She talks to John about how writing with humour and running saved her from her post-natal depression and inspired her debut novel. Theresa Leavy describes about how finding out her daughter had MS at 12 was like crashing into a brick wall and how she's cycled from London to Amsterdam to raise awareness. The online blogger NI Explorer Darren Diven is in studio to talk about how his passion for this place has led him to travel to all corners of the six counties and encourages us all to do the same. Live music is from Dublin band Penrose, Paula McIntyre makes a strawberry ice cream sandwich great for the sunny weather and John goes walkabout at Crawfordsburn Beach.
