Do we have set out as many others did years ago - and still do - to places such as Rome, Jerusalem, Santiago di Compostella - or even a bit nearer home, our own Bardsey Island at the end of the Lleyn Peninsula? Thousands of pilgrims would have come through Conwy en route to Bardsey.
