Moira ends this series of Music 'til Midnight with a featured album from one of her all-time, personal favourite singers, the great Joe Williams.  This is his 1964 release, Me and the Blues.  Backed by an all-star band including trumpeters Clark Terry and Thad Jones plus saxophonist Phil Woods, Joe explores the many moods of the blues in a selection that includes Good Morning Heartache, Early In The Morning, I'm Sticking With You Baby and Come On Blues.  Plus a look back at just some of the many hits of Louis Jordan performed by Louis himself as well as by BB King with Dr John, Ray Charles and Georgie Fame.  Including I'm Gonna Move to the Outskirts of Town, Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying and Saturday Night Fish Fry.

Music 'til Midnight returns to Radio 2 on Sunday 07 October.
