The eye-catching match of the week features the Super League leaders St Helens up against the defending champions Leeds Rhinos in what could be the first of many crucial meetings between the teams over the next few months. St Helens lost just twice in the first half of the season, but one of those defeats was against the Rhinos. An epic rivalry has developed between them and this promises to be one of the most intense matches of the season.

Two more teams chasing a place in the top four meet at the KCOM stadium as Hull FC take on Wigan. Both teams were recently knocked out of the Challenge Cup, so grand final glory is now their only priority for the rest of the year. Victory for either team will keep them on course for a place at Old Trafford at the end of the season.

There are two crucial matches at the foot of the table as four teams looking to avoid the qualifiers go head to head. Salford are at home to Widnes, and the Huddersfield Giants face Catalans Dragons, just two weeks after the Dragons knocked the Giants out of the Challenge Cup. Elsewhere, Castleford play Hull KR, and in-form Warrington travel to Wakefield.
