Russia has won the opening match of the Football World Cup, five-nil against Saudi Arabia

Russia has won the opening match of the Football World Cup, five-nil against Saudi Arabia.

The Football World Cup has kicked off with a spectacular win for Russia. Saudi Arabia's team lost 5-0 to the hosts. We hear from our correspondents in Russia. 

Also -- the New York attorney general sues President Trump's charitable foundation. And we hear from a 24-year-old Ugandan who has won the British Royal Academy of Engineering's Africa Prize for his device which tests for malaria without drawing blood.
