The US is to impose tariffs on steel and aluminium imports from the EU, Canada and Mexico

Washington says it will impose heavy tariffs on steel and aluminium imports from its closest allies and trade partners in the EU, Canada and Mexico. So is this now a trade war? Jim Rollo is associate fellow for global economy and politics at Chatham House, and gives us his reaction. Also in the programme, we have a report from India where economic growth has accelerated to 7.7%.
