BBC Radio Scotland - The Quay Sessions, Reef and Daniel Meade

British rock band Reef and local guitar hero Daniel Meade perform live.

Roddy Hart's guests this week are Reef and Daniel Meade.

Reef are back with a brand new album, Revelation - their first in 18 years! Produced by George Drakoulias (The Black Crowes, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Primal Scream) the band are one of the UK's best live acts. Famous for their hits Place Your Hands and Naked, the original band of singer Gary Stringer, bassist Jack Bessant and drummer Dominic Greensmith are now joined by guitarist Jesse Wood (son of Rolling Stone's Ronnie Wood) and are ready to head out on a UK tour, starting here at The Quay Sessions. 

Also playing will be local guitar hero Daniel Meade and band. Having spent much of last year in Ocean Colour Scene's touring line-up, Daniel also found time to write and record his brand new solo album When Was The Last Time. He's also bagged a tour slot this summer with The Proclaimers so now's a chance to find out just how good this singer-songwriter is!
