Shaun is after your Earworms before 8am. Plus, Georgie Rogers is here with the music news which includes a chat with REM's Peter Buck about his new group with Joseph Arthur, plus, there is as 6 Music Recommends track from Vicktor Taiwo. Also, ahead of the Great Escape Festival which kicks off this evening, Georgie chats with Feet who are described by NME as "fidgety, orthodox indie" and are signed to Yala! Records, run by ex-Maccabees guitarist Felix White. They play The Haunt tonight and Patterns on Friday evening. 

As well as all this, author Dean Burnett joins to chat about his second book, The Happy Brain. In the book, Dean investigates the science of happiness or whether such a thing exists. In his comic and accessible style, he delves into our most private selves to investigate what causes happiness, where it comes from, and why we are so desperate to hang onto it. The questions he raises are ones we so rarely ask today, but they address a major part of what it means to be a modern-day human.
