'Glasgow Girl' Amal Azzudin on refugees, political activism and life in Scotland.

Glasgow Girl Amal Azzudin on her extraordinary journey from coming to Scotland as a refugee to inspiring a musical and becoming the Saltire Society's Outstanding Woman of Scotland.

Cathy is joined by a remarkable young woman who arrived in Scotland as a refugee at the age of 10. Since then Amal Azzudin, one of the campaigning 'Glasgow Girls', has inspired a musical and been named the Saltire Society's Outstanding Woman of Scotland. Amal shares her extraordinary life journey, and what drew her to her current role of Equality and Human Rights Officer for the Mental Health Foundation in Scotland.

The enduring tale of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Book of Genesis paints a picture of God's vengeance being struck down upon a city because of the wickedness and depravity of its inhabitants. In his book, 'Of Men and Angels', Michael Arditti examines the impact of the story across five different periods of history.

As the debate around anti-Semitism continues on the political stage, we look at how it's reaching out into everyday life. Cathy talks to Dr Hannah Holtschneider from the University of Edinburgh's School of Divinity, Dr David Goodman from the Jewish Reform community, and Kristi Long, a member of Edinburgh's Liberal Jewish community, exploring the historical roots of anti-Semitism, why it's rearing its head again, and how to counter it.
