For the first time, the industry has agreed to halve greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

Discussions have been taking place this week in London at the meeting of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), to agree a global strategy to reduce carbon emissions. For the first time, the industry has agreed to halve greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Niklas Höhne, founding partner of NewClimate Institute and John Kornerup, head of sustainability strategy at Maersk, each join to discuss the merits of the deal. One of the founding fathers of the gambling industry in Macau - Stanley Ho - has retired at the very grand old age of 96. Ben Bland of the Financial Times in Hong Kong tells us about his contribution to the industry. We review the biggest stories of the week in business with Bloomberg technology reporter Sarah Frier and Joseph Sternberg, the Europe editorial page editor for the Wall Street Journal. And in the Netherlands, the traditional business of making flower in a windmill has been declining for years. Just forty people in the country still earn a living from making flour in this way.
