Roddy Hart welcomes acclaimed country-folk duo The Rails and BBC Music Sound of 2018 nominee Sam Fender to The Quay Sessions.

Roddy Hart welcomes The Rails and Sam Fender to The Quay Sessions.

The Rails are critically acclaimed country/folk husband and wife duo James Walbourne and Kami Thompson. James is one of the country's finest guitarists and full time member of the Pretenders. Meanwhile, Kami is folk rock royalty - daughter of Richard and Linda Thompson and sister to Teddy. They perform material from their new record Other People.

Sam Fender is a BBC Music Sound of 2018 nominee. The 22 year old from Newcastle burst on to the scene with his debut single Play God in March 2017 and has made a name for himself opening for bands like Catfish and The Bottlemen, Hozier and Jake Bugg.
