The paraorchestra formed in 2012 and have since gone on to play at the Paralympics Closing Ceremony, at Buckingham Palace, and also at Glastonbury festival.

As part of our Designs for Life series, we learn about how Charles Hazlewood has re-invented the orchestra for the 21st century, proving that music really is for everyone.

Since winning the European Broadcasting Union conducting competition in his 20's, Charles Hazlewood has conducted some of the world's greatest orchestras and has collaborated with artists including Wyclef Jean, Goldie, Nigel Kennedy and Steve Reich.
