Johnnie plays the songs he's always secretly loved and is joined by Michael McDonald.

Johnnie plays a selection of the songs he's always secretly loved and is joined by The Doobies' Michael McDonald.

At the start of the decade Michael was 18 and a jobbing studio musician in LA. In 1974, he briefly joined Steely Dan before being recruited to The Doobie Brothers in 1975 as a temporary replacement for singer Tom Johnston.  He ended up staying with the band for the rest of the decade and penning three of their biggest hits, 'Takin' It To The Streets', 'What A Fool Believes' and 'Minute By Minute'.

Also on the show, Johnnie delves into the BBC archive to uncover the stories from This Week In Music and another classic seven-inch single will be added into Johnnie's Jukebox.
