When Annie skives off school, she usually hides in the cathedral. But someone else is eyeing her spot. Read by  Bryony Hannah.

When Peterborough teenager Annie skives off school, she hides in the last place anyone will find her - the cathedral, by the tomb of Catherine of Aragon. 

But when an older woman, Verity, starts using the same spot, the pair strike up a bitter territorial battle.

Bryony Hannah reads Julie Mayhew's short story.

Julie is the author of four novels - Red Ink, The Big Lie, Mother Tongue and The Electrical Venus. She's also a writer for Radio 4 including Polygamy For Girls, part of the feminist season, Riot Girls.
