Today's castaway is Elena Favilli, one of the authors behind Good Night Stories For Rebel Girls. Tired of stories with male heroes, Elena and Francesca Cavallo, decided to write a book with women centre stage, in order to inspire girls around the world to dream bigger, aim higher and fight harder. 

The first volume was hugely successful (it has sold has sold more than 1.6mn copies and been translated into 42 languages) and volume 2 is out now, shining a spotlight on Beyoncé, J.K. Rowling, Rosalind Franklin, Nefertiti and more.

With Elena in charge of the tunes, we enjoy some Queen Bee, Adele, Celia Cruz and Miriam Makeba.
