Ricky talks to writer Jenni Fagan about her childhood in care and the power of writing. The programme also hears about a new multi-faith approach to ethical investment.

Jenni Fagan joins Ricky Ross to talk about her life, her writing career, studying for a PhD and how a childhood growing up in care informed her award winning debut novel, The Panopticon.

Ahead of International Women's Day and the Oscars, Jenni Fagan and writer Cat Stewart discuss global movements like #MeToo and 'Times Up', and look at ways in which we can achieve a more equal future.

A game changing initiative that provides an ethical alternative to capitalism is likely to be launched in Scotland this year. Martin Palmer of ARC (Alliance of Religions and Conservation), Omar Shaikh of the Islamic Finance Council UK, and practical theologian Alison Phipps, tell us more about the Faith-Consistent Investment Alliance and why we need it.
