The 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea have begun.  It's an exciting challenge for one of the BBC's newest language services, BBC Korean.  Editor Su-Min Hwang and local reporter Hyung Eun Kim take us behind the scenes to discuss cheerleaders, the Phantom of the Opera and more.

Bishkek cold snap
People living in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek had a chilly few days when temperatures dropped to -31 degrees Celsius, and the city's Central Heating Station broke down.  But it takes more than a cold snap to put the BBC Kyrgyz team off its stride, as Almaz Tchoroev explains.

#HerChoice in India

The Tet Offensive launched in January 1968 by Communist forces proved to be a turning point in the Vietnam War. Fifty years on, Giang Nguyen, editor of BBC Vietnamese, explains why this offensive remains an open wound in Vietnam, and tells his own story.

For decades Colombians produced some of the best coffee beans in the world, but hardly ever drank it… until recently.  Juan Carlos Perez of BBC Mundo explains what's changed and how he takes his cup of "tinto".
