Pearl Mackie plays Lulu in Pinter's The Birthday Party, Signe Johansen and cooking for one, 'Sex for rent' - new research from Shelter, and the importance of female friendships.

Pearl Mackie is starring as Lulu in Ian Rickson's West End revival of Harold Pinter's 'The Birthday Party'. Pearl joins Jenni to discuss the role, Doctor Who and what it's like to work as a female black actor in the UK on television and stage today.

New research published earlier this week estimates over 100,000 female tenants in England have been asked to give 'sex for rent' in the last year, and many more have experienced sexual harassment or unwelcome behaviour. What can be done to curb the problem? Jenni is joined by the Chief Executive of Shelter, Polly Neate, and Barbara, who has first-hand experience of this issue.

In her new book 'Solo: The Joy of Cooking for One', cook and food writer, Signe Johansen shows how cooking for yourself can be one of life's simplest and most therapeutic pleasures.
