The kids fly to Jeffreys Bay in South Africa to build skateboards.

Five kids work and live with the people in Africa who make their favourite things. The kids fly to South Africa to build skateboards.

The kids fly to South Africa and to the country's beautiful surfing centre of Jeffreys Bay. They are working with a major surfing and skateboarding brand and immediately start the tricky job of building skateboards. 

As they all struggle to get it right, there is major surprise in the camp when the boss promotes the person everyone was least expecting. That night, they find out that South Africa is a place of huge contrasts when they visit some workers in the local township. As homesickness kicks in for some of the group, they come to understand the sacrifices some people make to hold down a job and support their family.
