Five British children work in a cocoa plantation in Ghana.

Five children work and live with the people in Ghana who make their favourite things. The kids have to prove themselves to a village full of cocoa farmers.

Five pampered kids from the UK are taken to Ghana in west Africa for the start of a big adventure working and living alongside the people who make their favourite things. 

After a dramatic overland journey out into the African bush, they kick off their epic trip on a cocoa farm, where they have to prove themselves to a village full of cocoa farmers. Do the UK kids have what it takes to farm Ghana's precious brown gold? Within minutes of starting harvesting work in the cocoa plantation, they are a man down. Some of the remaining team struggle to get to grips with the rules on the farm and find staying in the basic accommodation pretty tough. The boss gives the culprits one of the most difficult jobs in cocoa farming - it's pretty smelly work and some of the kids are not in the mood for working! Will they all finally settle down and do enough to earn their first wage in Africa?
