BBC World Service - Business Matters, Republicans Close in on US Tax Reform

Biggest tax overhaul in three decades has passed through the US House of Representatives

US Republicans are closing in on passing the biggest tax overall in more than three decades, in a move that would provide the Trump White House with its first major legislative win. We'll get reaction from voters in Missouri and Texas about what it might mean for their families and their businesses. 

Also on the programme; Guy Hedgecoe reports from Barcelona as the Northern Spanish region of Catalonia gears up for regional elections called in the wake of October's disputed independence vote. We hear about Chinese plans to set up a national carbon market, and hear about the booming interest in Cryptocurrency investments in Asia. 

And, an investigation into serious allegations of racism and workplace misconduct, a major US sports business up for sale, and the multi-million-selling-musician Sean "P Diddy" Combs hoping to buy it. Mila Kimes of ESPN The Magazine brings us up to speed on the extraordinary goings on at the Carolina Panthers NFL franchise.
