This week Edi and her guests take Book Week Scotland as a starting point for their discussions of things to do as the snow starts to fall.

Author Jenny Colgan chats about her love of children's illustrator Pauline Baynes, whose most famous pictures include the original Narnia books.

Chef Kate Young is at the table with a warming recipe from an Agatha Christie short story.

And crime writer Doug Johnstone enthuses about sci-fi film Arrival, based on a story by American author Ted Chiang.

Edi will also be chatting to two winners of this year's Saltire Literary Awards and listening to a highlight from the BBC Radio Scotland archive: an interview with Dame Muriel Spark, whose centenary celebrations have just been launched.
