Three pairs of builders go head to head to win jobs. On offer is work involving a living room in Effingham and an outside toilet in Prestwich.

The first build on offer is in Prestwich, where Maggie has a £1,200 budget to take down her old and defunct outside toilet to give her a bigger yard space. The builders are full of creative ideas and, after hearing three very different pitches, Maggie gets to choose which pair to go with. So will Maggie go for family firm Tracy and Darryll, who want to use the bricks from the outhouse to build a reclaimed barbecue, Chris and Alex, who think a retractable canopy for shade and privacy is the winning idea, or Chris and Mark, who want to give Maggie an outdoor workout area? The competition is fierce as they all want the job.

In Surrey, Louise and Ryan need more storage in their living room. The builders come with three different designs, but of course, only one pair can win the job.
