Radio Scotland's Stuart Cosgrove has published the second part of his history of soul music trilogy. Memphis 68 chronicles the interaction between southern soul and the US civil rights music. He tells Janice all about it.

In the latest edition of our Talking Pictures series, Lesley Riddoch chats to Anne Ellis about her favourite painting: 'Line Fishermen' by Kaare Espolin Johnson.

Twenty years ago folk singer-songwriter Findlay Napier moved from Speyside to the 14th floor of the Red Road Flats in Glasgow to studio study Traditional Scottish Folk Music at the RCS. In honour of that move he's recorded a second solo album, Glasgow, about his adoptive home. He joins Janice for a live session.
