How have the government's pension freedoms worked for you?

Consumer phone-in. How have the government's pension freedoms worked for you? The Work and Pensions Select Committee is investigating.

On Call You & Yours we are asking how the government's pension freedoms have worked for you. Since 2015 people have been able to get access to their pension savings early, to enjoy their money straight away or invest it for their retirement in different ways. It has been popular and many people have taken advantage of the reforms. But for some people it has been a disaster, because they have lost their retirement savings through fraud or bad advice. 

Now. a group of MPs, the Work and Pensions Select Committee is investigating. They want to find out if people are getting good enough advice before they re-invest their savings and if there are enough safeguards in place to protect people from fraud or just their own mistakes. 

We want to hear your experience. Have you taken advantage of the pension freedoms? What did you decide to do and are you happy with the outcome? Are you confident that your decisions will eventually make you better off, or do you regret making them?
