New guidance for judges protecting children from violent parents.

New guidance for judges on child contact cases involving domestic abuse allegations come into force today. Judges must carefully consider the impact of domestic violence on children and question whether the "presumption of contact" should apply. Christina Blacklaws, Solicitor and Vice-President of the Law Society, and Katie Ghose, Chief Executive of Women's Aid, join Jane.

The dress historian Lucy Adlington has written a novel for young adults entitled 'Red Ribbon'. It is inspired by the real female prisoners who worked in the tailoring studio at camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. They were tasked with making stylish clothes for Frau Hoss, the wife of the Nazi commander. She joins Jane to discuss.

Cardi B is top of the Billboard Charts and she's only the second solo female Hip Hop artist in history to achieve the number one spot. She's come a long way, having escaped a violent relationship and growing up in poverty in the Bronx of New York City. Helen Thomas is a writer for NME Magazine and Buzzfeed UK, she joins Jane.

As part of our Best Place to be a Woman series, we hear from young Muslim women about what life is like for them at the moment in Britain. Muna Ahmed got in touch to say, in her view, it's pretty grim. She meets other Muslim women as they share stories of suspicion, harassment and abuse as they go about their lives online and on the street.
