Magaidh enlists Dean's help to sabotage her dad's new date - but Dean has other plans.

Children's drama. Ten-year-old Magaidh isn't happy that her father Pol has invited the local teacher round for dinner and possibly a date.

Ten-year-old Magaidh is unhappy that her father has invited the local teacher round for dinner. Her friend Dean meanwhile is trying to pluck up the courage to ask Magaidh to the local dance. When he eventually heads round to her house, Magaidh doesn't give him a chance to finish his question before Ms Dunlop arrives for the evening.

Magaidh hatches a plot to sabotage the imminent date and enlists Dean's help! Will he get the chance to ask her before her father catches them spoiling his evening? And what does Ms Dunlop, the local teacher, think of it all? Burnt dinners, spoilt wine, soaking wet clothes and a very happy dog lead to an eventful evening for the two children.
