Are the Kardashians good role models for young women? The pimping of prostitution; Do your children argue all the time? Should anyone be spared jail for knife attack?

Aspiring heart surgeon Lavinia Woodward, an Oxford university student, stabbed her Cambridge University boyfriend in the leg with a bread knife, but avoided jail and was given a suspended sentence. We discuss whether there is a difference in sentencing when it comes to gender and class. 

What do you do if your children don't seem to like each other? Maybe all they do is squabble and fight - or maybe they simply don't have anything in common? Jane is joined by listeners who have been experiencing exactly this, and Claire Hughes, Professor of Developmental Psychology at Cambridge University. 

Julie Bindel has been an active feminist campaigner against male violence towards women since 1979. But for the last two decades she has focussed much of her time and energy on fighting for the abolition of the global sex trade. She joins Jane Garvey to explain why the myth of sex work is distorting the voices of the exploited women. Tomorrow's programme will present a separate viewpoint from women who work in the sex industry. 

It's 10 years since the reality TV show 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' hit our screens. Kim and the rest of the Kardashian clan have launched fashion lines, make-up ranges and spin-off programmes - whilst earning millions. Sarah Carson, a features writer at the Radio Times and Nell Grecian, a sex and dating blogger discuss whether their success makes them good role models or toxic for young women.
