Thousands of supporters of a self-styled holy man go on the rampage killing about 30 people after he is found guilty of rape

About 30 people were killed in clashes in northern India after thousands of supporters of a self-styled holy man went on the rampage. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who says he has millions of supporters around the world, was found guilty of raping two women at the headquarters of his sect in 2002.
