Actress, Sri Devi, started acting at approximately the age of four and this year, coming up to her 54th birthday shes been working on the silver screen for 50 years. In that time she has worked on countless hit movies and is credited by industry experts as having become one of the first truly solo female movie stars in India, able to sell movies in her own right. 

In this special Asian Network Presents we hear from Sri Devi herself, a few of her biggest fans including Bollywood stars Kajol and Juhi Chalwa who talk about what an inspirational figure she was for them and we relive some of the best moments of her movies and the music.
