The public should stop giving money to beggars, according to a leading Scottish business figure who says they are putting shoppers off visiting city centres and damaging trade. Stuart Patrick, chief executive of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, has said that beggars are putting shoppers off visiting city centres and having a serious impact on businesses.

According to a new study, parents are divided about whether it is right to post photos of one's children to social media. Ofcom reported that just over half of parents it surveyed said they avoided sharing pictures of their kids all together.
