With three minutes each to summarise their PhD research, Dr Art Hughes hears from Eilís Ní Dhúill about the practice of storytelling by the traditional Irish language speakers of Corca Dhuibhne, as portrayed in contemporary Irish language documentary films. Patrick O'Leary examines transition metal catalysed intermolecular Buchner reactions of diazoketones: application to the synthesis of polycyclic systems and Niall Mac Uidhilin gives Art an insight into the education of young people in the Gaeltacht area.
