Lauren Laverne has a live session from Mr Jukes, the new project from former Bombay Bicycle Club frontman Jack Steadman.

Lauren welcomes Mr Jukes to the Live Room, which is the new project from former Bombay Bicycle Club frontman, Jack Steadman. The new project is inspired by Steadman's love of jazz, soul and funk and his debut album 'God First' is due out on the 14th of July on Island Records. 

Mr Jukes is a one man effort from Steadman but features a number of stellar collaborations including The Chicago Kid, who appeared on the 6 Music Playlisted track Angels/Your Love. We're delighted to welcome Mr Jukes to the Live Room to hear tracks from the album and find out what he's been up to and how it feels flying solo. 

All this plus, Lauren Laverne picks three listener-selected tracks to kick start the week, the Just Added playlist, a Headphones Moment and a boxful of brilliant records.
