IN THE DARK is a brand-new, four-part drama by BAFTA-winning writer DANNY BROCKLEHURST, adapted from books by bestselling novelist MARK BILLINGHAM, It stars MyAnna Buring (Ripper Street, Downton Abbey, The Twilight Saga) as Helen Weeks, a feisty yet fragile detective. Danny and Mark are live in studio to look ahead to the start of the series.

This month, in honour of Wimbledon starting on Monday, Janice's Book group has been reading DOUBLE FAULT by Lionel Shriver - a tale of rivalry between husband and wife, set in the world of professional tennis. KIRSTIN INNES and ALAN BISSETT discuss it.

Writer JENNI FAGAN discusses the legacy of Inverness- born novelist Jessie Kesson and the issuing of new editions of her books, as well as her new cine poem filmed on location at Bangour Village hospital (Edinburgh District Asylum).

At a time when we are mostly hearing of music venue closure NOTHING EVER HAPPENS HERE, is bringing music to Edinburgh live from the diverse arts space of Summerhall. Programmer JAMIE SUTHERLAND will tell us how it came about and what music we have to look forward to this summer.
