British police investigating the attack in London have searched properties in east London

British police have been carrying out searches in London as they investigate the attack on Saturday which left seven people dead and nearly fifty injured.  They've asked the media not to name the three attackers who were killed.  

Fifty thousand people have attended a charity concert in Manchester at which the pop star Ariana Grande performed for the first time since a suicide attack in the city two weeks ago. 

President Putin has played down his contacts with Donald Trump's former National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn.
