The cyber-hacking blackmail attack is now affecting computers in 150 countries.

The cyber-hacking blackmail attack is now affecting computers in 150 countries; China reveals plan to revolutionise some of the oldest trading routes in the world.

Security experts are warning they've detected new versions of the malicious software that infected computer systems around the world on Friday. The so-called "ransomware" attack locks owners out of infected computers, which display a message saying they won't be able to use their PCs again unless they pay $300. The President of China has opened a two day summit of global political leaders with a $100 billion plan to transform world trade. The One Belt, One Road initiative is a project to bring the ancient silk-road trading routes between China and the rest of the world into the twenty-first century.  And a recent report by the London Stock Exchange identified nearly 350 of the fastest-growing and most dynamic private businesses across Africa and found that some 12% of the companies it surveyed were led by female bosses. That, it said, was three times the average for companies across Africa..
